IE doesn't like the driver at all. So far, I've not been able to get it working - hindered by the fact that I don't write applets... You could try DriverManager.registerDriver(new postgresql.Driver()); after the Class.forName() incase IE isn't running the static initialiser block. I get "java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driverat java/sql/DriverManager.getConnection" and of course microshaft ie is used here. anyone else use the jdbc and found a solution or know whats going on? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP Personal Privacy 6.5.2 iQA/AwUBOJG9TMThZ2z7/331EQKiegCg/rX7J8+Ybo2Nz2D9ii4IqSaqUhcAoMYl 2Xtak3p4+6YHhsJozRX5rMvE =21CA -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ************
