problem with current snapshot

I just cvsup'ed the latest snapshot. After compiling and installing I can
connect but not display my tables anymore:

PQexec() -- Request was sent to backend, but backend closed the channel
before responding.
        This probably means the backend terminated abnormally before or
while processing the request.
mm=> \q

Working with my tables still works fine, just \z doesn't.
