Linux RDBMS specialist required in UK

Cmed requires a full time relational database specialist.  The
successful candidate will be passionate about optimising a mission
critical PostgreSQL database on a cutting edge Linux system.

An autodidact's approach, enthusiasm, UNIX and GNU/Linux
scripting/programming skills are essential.  Communication skills are
more important than commercial RDBMS experience, but a solid
understanding of such systems is vital and any experience you do have
will of course be taken into account.

In exchange for your efforts you'll get a competitive salary and the
opportunity to work with an experienced team of Linux engineers working
with modern languages and agile methodologies to deliver solutions at
the cutting edge of clinical research.

Cmed is approaching based in Horsham, UK, but we have an office on the
outskirts of New York and we're expanding into other countries as well.
We're driven by profits, not venture capital and in strong position to
grow the business further.  The successful candidate will have plenty of
opportunities to travel and progress into different roles as we go,
though neither is mandatory.
