#48: adminpack shouldn't ask for a specific format of the log_filename ------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- Reporter: gleu | Owner: dpage Type: feature | Status: closed Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: pgadmin | Version: 1.8 Resolution: won't fix | Keywords: adminpack Platform: all | ------------------------+--------------------------------------------------- Changes (by dpage): * status: new => closed * resolution: => won't fix Comment: Adminpack is a PostgreSQL contrib module, and issues should really be reported/discussed there. The reason for the format is to restrict the pg_logdir_ls output to only postgresql logfiles, when they may be present in directories used for other logs (consider /var/log). Constructing a filter based on a custom log_filename GUC is actually pretty hard to do. -- Ticket URL: <http://code.pgadmin.org/trac/ticket/48#comment:1> pgAdmin III <http://code.pgadmin.org/trac/> pgAdmin III
