ElseIF in PLPGSQL

Hi all,

I have created one function and i want to use

IF
    .........do something...
ELSEIF
    .........do something...
ELSE
    .........do something...
END IF;

My ELSEIF condition is TRUE but still it goes into ELSE condition ???

Is this a problem or ???
