I still get

ERROR: fmgr_info: function 28261: cache lookup failed

in my first vacuum call.

Bruce, if you need a test case, go into pgsql/src/interfaces/ecpg/test and
type 'make all'. Afterwards executing perftest gives you this output
everytime. Yes, you need a DB named mm for this. :-)
