Problems compiling postgresql 7.2.1 on AIX

Hello all,

I have a problem while compiling postgresql 7.2.1 on AIX using the
following:

./configure     --prefix=/usr/local/pgsql
        --with-includes=/usr/local/include
        --with-libraries=/usr/local/lib
        --with-perl --with-CC=gcc

gmake --version
GNU Make version 3.79.1, by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath.
Built for powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.0.0

gcc --version
2.9-aix51-020209

I get while compiling pqcomm.c the following error:
